Photos black and white on inside pages, scanned on flatbed and output to film for higher resolution. Two color spot color and black ink on inside pages. Layout/design of all pages and cover in QuarkXpress. Freely distributed community magazine through bulk mail, saving costs with drop shipments. 50% editorial content and 50% advertising space. Community lifestyle stories in each issue about people in the area in addition to restaurant feature, business brief profile, calendar of events, kids page, word search puzzle and other interest columns. Business people running ads liked the fact the product was delivered by U.S. mail.
